When there are challenges in my life, it leads me to feel that I need to change my life on my own sometimes. I not only think that I need to deal with personal changes, I get concerned with the changes in the world as well. There are also various other changes such as a change in our jobs, change in our relationships, location changes and more.
How we cope with these changes, whether they are ours or the changes in the world really says a lot about our inner self. If we worry constantly about these changes and what is going to happen next, we miss seeing the joy that God desires us to have.
Does it sometime seem impossible to get this joy so easily? Well yes it sometimes takes awhile, but it is so worth waiting for! If you had a choice of worrying about change or rest in the fact that God is taking care of it, which would you rather do? I would think if we carried the weight of the world on our shoulders, it would soon wear us down so much, we would be unable to live a life that is Christ centered.
Our worry is a signal that we basically don’t trust God and is not the right way to manage change. If we allowed change to worry us, it would soon affect our state of mind, sabotage our health, and our general spiritual productivity.
The change in my life that God desires would be to diligently pray daily for courage and perseverance and to study His word. I need to trust God completely to change my life with His truth and a be a follower of Jesus Christ who is our loving guide and protector. I will then wait patiently for amazing changes to happen in my life.

Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
