The Bible states that there are two places for us to go when we die. Heaven is one place that is beautiful where people are now Christ-like and enjoy more happiness and beauty than they will ever see here now.
It is not a place of boredom, but a joyous place. We will no longer cry or be sad, we are all together worshiping our Saviour for eternity.
“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more. “Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
Isaiah 65:17-21
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:1-4
There is another place that is not comforting and a place of eternal suffering. Hell is for real and people that go there can never escape. A lot of people don’t believe that there could be such a place, but the Bible states this:
He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: Revelation 14:10
Knowing that there really is a hell, it makes sense to learn more about the Lord. We’ll be able to love Him and tell others the truth about Heaven and Hell. We need to surrender our hearts to Jesus so that we can live eternally in bliss in Heaven.
