How to Attain Love and Caring in Your Life

attain-loveI sometimes have felt like getting in my car and driving as far away as I could to escape some difficulties I was having in my life.  But when I realistically thought about doing this, it seemed so pointless.  Since I am human, my feelings tend to get self centered and most of what I think about is my own happiness.  I then stop and think about the people that I care about and realize that I can’t expect life to be just “my way” of thinking in reaction to them in order to attain love and caring.

All of us have bad days and I have learned (and still struggle with) not to center my way of thinking around circumstances.  My thoughts and centered thinking need to be redirected to God because He has unconditional love and care for me. When I think about all the blessings I’ve experienced, I am reminded that His path for my life is the best one. He will never stop caring for me and it is such a great comfort.

How do I attain love and caring? When I pray for guidance on a daily basis, God then opens my heart to also be more caring. My caring emotions then get reciprocated through others as well. I trust that God places this in my heart because of His perfect care and love for me.
