Reasons to Wait on God

Waiting on God

I have been waiting for my life to change to something much more,

But signs are saying wait on God’s perfect plan, that is what I long for.

Extreme feelings of anxiety and fear have ultimately consumed me,

Day by day I’m learning not to try so hard and to let things be.

I have hope in my heart knowing that better days are ahead,

With trust in God, there will be no more days of indescribable dread.

I sometimes think how did I ever get into this situation?

It was because I forgot to turn it over to Him without temptation.

I now see my life starting to take many positive turns,

I know that God is so near to help me finally learn.

  2. It take a lot of reflection to realize where you need to work and where you need to wait. Life has taught us to always be working and productive, but God has told us to be still. Thank you for this post 🙂
