Carrie Underwood has one of the spiritual gifts of singing beautifully. See You Again is an incredible song and gives me the chills! Did you know that God has given each of us spiritual gifts such as talents and abilities that we need to use to the glory of God? Using talents this way can change our lives in a positive way as noted in the scriptures.
In Matthew 25:14-28 there were three servants that were given five talents which in Biblical times was equivalent to money.The first two men used their talents and gained double what they had started out with.
The third, however buried his talent and his master was very displeased with this servant and called him “wicked and lazy.”This seems a little harsh, but I believe it was an example of God wanting us to put our talents and abilities to good use. Do not hide these talents but use them for God’s glory. When these spiritual gifts are used, it further contributes to the world knowing about the kingdom of God. This increases our joy and allows God to work in our lives to form an even a better outcome than could have been achieved on our own!
